Armageddon

When it rained Saturday morning, I knew I wanted to be up at the Griffith Park Observatory for sunset, as it would be a nice, clear view. So after a few hours at Hollywood Forever's Dia De Los Muertos, a few of us headed up to Griffith Park for sunset. I had a jonesing that nothing but a sunset could cure ;-)

All though all the clouds cleared out, I wasn't disappointed. And then they fired off the nukes...


Shot with the old Canon 5D and the Canon 17-40 f4L. A couple more after the jump


The above also taken with the old 5d and 17-40.

 These last 2 were shot with the Canon 5DMKII and the Canon 100-400 f4.5-5.6L. The beauty below is a good friends daughter.

It was a great day for photography...
